Scarce 18th Century Map of Bristol

The City of Bristol in 1786.

This facsinating 18th century map of Bristol by Benjamin Donn shows an index of all churches and important buldings and was unusual for including an alphabetical grid system, probably one of the original A to Z maps!

Original 'Price 1 Shilling & 6 Pence. Col'd 3s'.  Depicts Bristol as a county and shows bridges and ferry crossing.
310 x 430mm.
£345.00 unframed, FREE UK delivery.
